Hello.
I am back from Death Island (St. John's Island). Yea, I had ASPIRE `09 there. Camp Nova yo. You are about to witness a list of events that happened during Nova. Even though this camp is dirty, I would say that it's pretty inspiring:
DAY ONE
Was escorted to St. John's thru bus and ferry. One look at the island I know already that it is a creepy and ulu place, cos' it's old and tattered, with dimmed lights and toilets full of those bugs you don't see in your everyday life. After settling in, we went for Telematch. Very hot leh, and then the part with marbles is also very irritating. After that is Treasure Hunt. Wlao, run up run down like that, your leg not pain my leg pain la. But then searching for the treasure is fun. When dusk falls, it is officially announced that Fright Night had begun. We were sent to the forest and were forced to walk through the forest ourselves. Damn f/king scary la, all the alumni people try to scare me, I say f/ck you la, can give me peace or not? Okay, I'm so not going to talk about the details (it's embarrasing).
DAY TWO
6:30am is Morning PT. It's great and refreshing, cos' I didn't get the chance to bathe last night. Especially the Chicken Dance (and says LOL). After which we went to uncover the Urban Legends that were sighted during the Fright Night. Then I was like, chey, choy, and touchwood, cos' all the so called spirits are fake one. Then comes Amazing Race. Similar to Treasure Hunt, it's tiring and wastes time. But solving the questions was fun. Returned to The Cage and prepared for Camp Fire. At night, the Camp Fire was held at this ulu and creepy place near the beach. THERE WASN'T A SINGLE STREET LIGHT, so we must use light sticks to figure where to go. Very big wind (shivers).
DAY THREE
Again, 6:30am is Morning PT. But this one wasn't fun; everyone was late, so we did around 60 pumpings for punishment. WLAO, 'CHER, I CAN'T TAKE THIS ONE Y'KNOW!? Area cleaning and I was assigned to clean the toilet. Dammit. Went home.
I can tell you, 70 clackmannishires isn't worth this shit.
But on second thoughts, maybe.
